Well it looks like this mystery is finally coming to a close. We followed these murders around the entire country and found out that everything had been connected to the cat after all. We traced the cat all the way back to fredericksburg VA where we discovered the identity of our murderer. The culprit had been Jim Groom the whole time! Billy realized that the victims were all connected by something other than the cat after all. They all had the same bracelet that read 4life on it and that 4life was the motto of DS106! We also found out that Jim Groom had shown an unnatural obsession with Noir Cat and had even gotten into heated disputes with Burtis prior to her murder. Given all of these connections between Groom, Burtis and the DKC, it was easy to make the connection that he was our mysterious client.

Truthfully, No Stain No Problem usually stays out of this murder solving sort of stuff and sticks strictly to the murder cleanup business. It kinda pissed me off at first that we were even looking into the murder in the first place.. I mean, its pretty bad business to report your client to the police right after hiring you.. But then again, Groom made it personal when he murdered our professor Martha Burtis. I didn’t know burtis that well but she didn’t seem like she deserved to be caught up in all of this.

Anyway, we confronted Groom at the DKC and told him we had figured it all out. It was INTENSE. Of course he denied everything at first but we had him on all the facts! We pressured him right into admitting everything. Turns out that Groom was going after Noir Cat in revenge against Black and Burtis. The Noir Cat was getting more attention than Groom could ever get and he finally broke. He wanted to frame Noir Cat so that everyone at the DKC would hate the Noir Cat and love him! Looks like the gang stopped him though. Burtis would be proud that we avenged her death and cleared the name of the Noir Cat.
