What a long few days this has been. I tried going on vacation, because god knows I need out of this place, but that was cut to about 12 hours because we got another call. This call instructed us that we were needed to clean an apartment in Tecolotito, NM. Well, for one, I’ve never heard of this place….which is understandable because about 18 people live here and after what I’ve seen today, I’m sure that AT LEAST 12 of them are cats. We arrived and were dealing with the Murder of Ms Wanda T. Fox, the town’s lawyer. Now, have you ever seen a crazy cat lady? No? Well me either. That is until I walked into the apartment. There were cats EVERYWHERE! Cat toys, cat hair, cat food, cat treats, cat carries, pictures of cats...I mean the list goes on and on. Anyway. Cleaning up this mess wasn’t fun. There was a lot of cat hair in Idaho, but that doesn’t even compare to how much covered this apartment. Anyway, getting back to the murder, she was obviously drowned. There was no blood, which was great for me. I didn’t have to break out any BBG (blood be gone) but I did have to figure out how I was going to soak up all of this water. The asshole who decided to kill this girl literally let the water run UNTIL WE GOT THERE! I’m surprised the floor didn’t collapse.

Continuing, I didn’t have much to do for this clean up.

Getting back to the cats. They were meowing like nobody’s business. They couldn’t have been hungry, because all of their bowls were filled. I counted up the cats, and there were 12 of them. When I made a comment, Billy mentioned that there were 13 bowls. WELL FUCK. That meant that a cat was missing. Jack went around matching the names on the collars to the names on the bowls, and we figured out that “NC” was missing. Alls I’m wondering is 1. Who names a cat NC? and 2. What the HELLLLLL does NC stand for?

After all of this, I decided to update our bulletin board, that keeps track of new information we have learned at the past few jobs. I took a picture of all the bowls and was sure to put that up there as well. We also learned that Mr. Smith, the man we helped clean up a few days ago, had recently adopted a cat from Fredericksburg, VA. What was he doing there? We all have a lot of work to do...and I’m sick of all of these cats. Two jobs in a row where cats were involved? What a strange coincidence….
